Perennial growing from rhizomatous roots. Narrow lanceolate, finely toothed, mid green leaves. Tall erect spikes of pale yellow flowers with darker veining inside, produced in early summer.
Best in reasonable, well drained, humus-rich soil in sun or part shade and a warm location.
May be short lived.
