Dwarf, compact, rounded bushy habit with small dark green leaves tinged red underneath and purple flushed when young. Heads of yellow-green flowers often flush with red, on dark maroon red stems in spring.
Well drained, moist soil in full sun or light shade. Tolerates dry periods once established.
By division in early spring or basal cuttings in spring and summer. Dip cuttings in lukewarm water or powdered charcoal to prevent the sap bleeding.
Good in containers or front of borders.
