description:
Herbaceous perennial that produces vividly coloured new shoots of bright pink in late winter and early spring. The long narrow willow-like leaves mature to green with a distinct pinkish-red midribs and veining, on reddish stems. Acid greenish-yellow flower heads in late summer. Also has good autumn foliage colour of yellow infused with red.
