description:
Tender perennial of compact, low spreading habit, freely producing large daisy-like bright orange flowers dark blotches at the base of the petals forming central ring. Very quick to flower from seed.
Often treated as an annual.

cultivation:
Not frost hardy although will usually survive short periods around zero. Best grown in a sandy well-drained loam, in full sun. Drought tolerant once established.

propagation:
From seed sown in late winter at a temperature of 16°C or higher.
