Very dark black-purple, divided leaves, the colour being retained well throughout the season. Pale violet-blue flowers from June to August. Foliage becomes red tinted in autumn. Compact habit. Resistant to mildew.

Cut back after flowering to encourage new growth and sometimes repeat flowering.
