Tender evergreen perennial forming clumps of lobed to pinnatifid, dark green basal leaves. Large daisy-like flowers held on upright stems and in a range of colours, generally yellows, oranges, pinks and reds, usually with yellow centres.
Moist, well drained soil in a warm, sunny position. Only suitable for growing outside in frost-free climates, but can be cultivated under glass elsewhere.
Can be short-lived and sometimes treated as annual.
From seed, basal cuttings or division.
Containers, houseplant, cut flowers, borders in warm climates.
