description:
Vigorous, spreading shrub or small tree. Clusters of spidery, pale yellow, scented flowers produced on bare branches in late winter, usually slightly later than most other varieties. Good autumn foliage colour.

cultivation:
Best in moist, fertile, acid to neutral soil in sun or part shade. Dislikes dry soils. Benefits from a site sheltered from strong winds.
Prune if required, by removing dead or unwanted branches in late winter/early spring.
