description:
Dwarf annual Sunflower. Dense, bushy habit bearing numerous flowers over a long period in summer. The large blooms have greenish and brown centres surrounded by a frill of yellow petals.

cultivation:
Originally selected for use in containers but also successful as a border plant.
As for other sunflowers, easily grown and not fussy about soils. Needs full sun..

propagation:
Sow seeds after all danger of frost, in pots or directly into their final position. Thin the plants to approximately 50cm apart to allow space for their foliage.

usage:
Good for attracting wildlife.
