Dwarf annual Sunflower. Dense, bushy habit bearing numerous flowers over a long period in summer. The large blooms have greenish and brown centres surrounded by a frill of yellow petals.
Originally selected for use in containers but also successful as a border plant.
As for other sunflowers, easily grown and not fussy about soils. Needs full sun..
Sow seeds after all danger of frost, in pots or directly into their final position. Thin the plants to approximately 50cm apart to allow space for their foliage.
Good for attracting wildlife.
