Semi-double to double white flowers, about 10cm across, in late summer and early autumn. The large outer petals and a clustered smaller ones at the centre give an anemone-flowered appearance.
Reasonably fertile, humus-rich, moist, well drained soil in full sun. Performs best in areas with long hot summers.
Prune in early spring. On established plants, some old stems can be cut back hard.
