description:
Upright to spreading, slow-growing deciduous shrub. Large, lance-shaped, deep green leaves, narrower than the species and with short stiff hairs on the undersides. Large flattened flowerheads of blue or lilac-blue fertile flowers in the centre, surrounded by white, sterile flowers. Often later flowering than other varieties, in late summer or well into autumn.
