Bushy, deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub with ovate mid-green leaves, sometimes turning wine-red in late autumn. Bright golden yellow flowers in summer through to autumn, followed by brownish-red berries.
Any reasonable soil, including clay or sandy soils, in sun or part shade. Quite drought tolerant once established.
Very hardy and tough plant.
