description:
Semi-evergreen shrub usually of dense, rounded habit with arching stems and elliptic to ovate, dark bluish-green leaves, paler underneath. Golden yellow flowers, up to 6cm across, with conspicuous long stamens, are freely borne from summer to autumn. They are followed by bright red, conical, narrowly pointed, seed capsules.
