Large showy flowers with frilly edged petals that are white in the middle and clear lemon yellow at the margins. Early summer flowering with sturdy, erect, well branched stems. Glaucous green strap-shaped leaves. Vigorous and spreading habit.
Well drained, preferably neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun. Rhizomes should be partially exposed and flowering is best in areas with long warm summers. Divide clumps when congested.
