description:
Bushy, arching shrub. Sturdy shoots with larger leaves than the species and clusters of larger, up to 2.5cm across, fragrant bright yellow flowers from late spring through into autumn.

cultivation:
Commonly trained as a wall shrub. Not fussy about growing conditions. Quite drought tolerant once established, however does not withstand very low temperatures and benefits from some protection in cold areas.
Can spread by suckering shoots and even become invasive in some situations. Prune some shoots down to ground level in early to mid spring, to tidy and encourage fresh growth.
