description:
Densely bushy evergreen shrub of rather variable habit, from wide-spreading to upright. Occasionally forms a small tree. Tiny, green to blue-green, scale-like leaves cover the branchlets. Insignificant flowers are followed by blue berry-like fruits.
Several named cultivars are available.

Best in reasonable, moist soil in full sun or light shade, but quite tough and tolerant once established. Very hardy.
