description:
Common wildflower and garden weed. Hairy, fast growing, creeping perennial with erect or semi-erect, square section, brittle stems and opposite, pointed, coarsely toothed leaves, somewhat similar in appearance to the familiar stinging nettle, but without any stinging hairs. Dense whorls of creamy white flowers produced on the upper part of the stems from spring to autumn.
