Shallowly cup-shaped, bright pink flowers throughout summer. Grey-green foliage which may evergreen or semi-evergreen, depending on the climate. Robust and fast growing.
Requires good drainage and full sun. Thrives on poor, dry soil. Short-lived when grown on rich soils. May be damaged or killed by cold, damp winters.
Best to cut all growth hard back in spring.
From cuttings in early summer.
Hybrid derived from Lavatera olbia x Lavatera thuringiaca.
Named after the village of Bredon in Worchestershire, UK.
