Moist but very well drained soil in sun. Not frost hardy.
From seed or semi-ripe cuttings.
Containers, hanging baskets or as a conservatory plant.
Native to the cloud forests of Tenerife and the Cape Verde Islands, but now very rare in the wild. Fortunately commonly cultivated.
