Excellent shrub for shape and colour in winter. Glossy, prickly leaves and erect clusters or racemes of bright yellow flowers in winter, later followed by blue berries Similar varieties are 'Winter Sun' and 'Buckland'
Tolerant of a wide range of conditions but best in moist, well drained, moderately fertile, humus-rich soil in full or part shade.
If required, trim or cut back after flowering.
