Desert apple with yellow and red-streaked fruits, of firm crisp texture and good flavour. Stores well. White and pink tinted flowers opening from reddish buds in spring.
Moderately fertile, well drained soil, preferably in full sun.
Harvest fruit in late September or October.
Size depends on the grafting rootstock.
Bred in Pillnitz, near Dresden, Germany, introduced 1986. A cross between Malus domestica 'Golden Delicious', Malus domestica 'Cox's Orange Pippin' and Malus domestica 'Duchess of Oldenburg'
