description:
A striking form with bright golden yellow, feathery foliage. The colouring is retained well into summer, but may tend to become greenish in very shady positions. Deciduous with good golden brown autumn colour. Strong growing, somewhat slower than the species.

cultivation:
Grows best in moist, well drained, humus rich soil in sun or part shade. Thrives successfully in damp, even waterlogged, soil near water.

propagation:
From cuttings or by grafting.

Originally raised in Japan and introduced to Europe by Peter Zweinburg of Boskoop, Holland around 1993.
