Small evergreen shrub with slightly sticky leaves. Deep brick red flowers producuced through summer to autumn.
Adaptable to most soils, but must be well drained, drought tolerant but dislikes excessive wet. Warm sunny position.
Trim in spring to promote bushiness.
From seed or by cuttings. In the wild, flowers are fertilised by hummingbirds.
