description:
Cormous perennial producing linear, mid-green leaves up to 55cm long and a succession of cup-shaped, scented, yellow, peach or pink flowers borne on long wiry stems in spring and summer.

cultivation:
Well drained soil in full sun and a warm location. In cold areas best grown in a very sheltered position or a cool greenhouse. Should be kept dry while dormant.
Corms should be planted in autumn or early spring, about 10cm deep.

propagation:
From seed or corm offsets.
