description:
Usually the earliest Daffodil to flower and also in bloom for a long period, up to 8 weeks. Strong golden yellow with narrow trumpets. Will naturalise easily.

cultivation:
Best in moderately fertile, well drained soil. Needs reasonable moisture while in growth early in the year. Sun or part shade.
Plant bulbs at one and half times their own size or a little deeper. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering.

propagation:
Separate and replant bulb offsets.
