Each stem carries 4 or more double flowers of creamy white with yellow-orange centres, on strong stems in late spring. Sweetly scented.
Best in moderately fertile, well drained soil with reasonable moisture while in growth early in the year but quite dry while dormant, when bulbs will survive drought and hot summers. Full sun.
Plant bulbs at one and half times their own size or a little deeper. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
Separate and replant bulb offsets.
