description:
Small evergreen shrub Alternate, wavy-edged, greyish to dark green leaves, felted underneath. Very freely produced white daisy-like flowers often completely cover the plant in late spring.
Similar to and may be confused with Olearia x scilloniensis

cultivation:
Fertile free-draining soil in full sun, preferably with some protection from cold drying winds. Tolerant of dry soil and hot sunny positions. Thrives in mild coastal locations.
Prune after flowering.

other notes:
Native to the south-eastern parts of Australia.

There is considerable naming confusion between this and the hybrid Olearia x scilloniensis, which is more common in cultivation.
