description:
Small, succulent, rosette-forming alpine. Grey-green fleshy leaves arranged in a symmetrical crowded pattern around the rosettes. Very slow gowing. Racemes of small insignificant greenish yellow flowers produced on short stems from the centre of the rosettes in late summer. They are monocarpic and die after flowering, but new offset rosettes are usually developed first.

Sharply drained soil in full sun. Very cold hardy but dislikes excessive winter wet.

propagation:
From seed or separated offsets.
