description:
Deciduous shrub with ovate, leaves of green with broad white margins. Terminal racemes of cup-shaped, scented, white flowers in early summer.

cultivation:
Any moderately fertile, well drained soil, preferably in part shade.
Prune after flowering by cutting back shoots to a strong bud and on established plants, remove about a quarter of the old stems at the base.
