Best in moist, well drained, fertile soil in full sun but tolerant of a range of conditions. Top growth may be damaged by hard frosts and in any case, in cool climates, it is best cut back hard at the end of the season or in early spring.
From stem cuttings or rooted suckers.
Hybrid of P. aequalis x P. capensis
