description:
Leaves are edged with silvery white and new spring shoots are bright red in colour. Creamy white flowers in mid to late spring. Fairly compact habit.

cultivation:
Moist, well-drained, humus rich, acidic soil in partial shade. Sheltered, woodland type conditions are ideal. Foliage is likely to scorch in hot sun.
Can suffer from Phytophthora root rot disease, causing wilting or death.

propagation:
From cuttings.
