Small evergreen shrub making a compact, dense mound of glossy dark green foliage. Tight, upright panicles of pure snow white flowers in March.

Moist, well-drained, humus rich, acidic soil in partial shade. Sheltered, woodland type conditions are ideal. Will tolerate full sun if not too hot.
