description:
Low spreading, almost prostrate shrub with blue green foliage and pinkish red stems. Large golden yellow flowers in summer.

cultivation:
Any well drained, moist soil in full sun. Best in an open position. Unfussy and hardy.

From softwood cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe, heeled cuttings in late summer or autumn.

other notes:
Found in the 1970's by Roy Davidson of Seattle, in the Sioux territory of Utah. Introduced to UK via Canada in about 1985 by Allan Robinson. The name refers to the mountain where it was found, known by its patterns of stones in rings and spokes.
