description:
Small deciduous tree or large shrub. Leaves are palmate with three sections, up to 12cm long. Corymbs of greenish-white star shaped flowers in summer followed by pale green, flattened and winged seeds. All parts of the tree are pleasantly aromatic, the flowers especially so.

Fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or dappled shade.

From seed sown in autumn or spring or greenwood cuttings in early summer.
