description:
Lovely nodding cup-shaped flowers held above soft, ferny foliage. The flowers are followed by seedheads which last well in to summer. Typically colours are mauve. but a wide range of purples, reds and whites are now available.

cultivation:
Free-draining, gritty soil in full sun. Once established, they resent disturbance and division of clumps is rarely successful.

propagation:
From seed, will self seed in favourable conditions.
