description:
Tender shrub, fast growing. Deep blue-violet flowers about 2cm across, produced over a long period in summer and autumn. Alternate oval to lanceolate leaves up to 10cm long. Ovoid red fruits.

Not frost hardy and needs a warm climate or winter protection. Best in full sun and moist, well drained soil.
Can be easily trimmed or trained as a standard. May be grown as a wall shrub.
