description:
Half-hardy annual. Vigrous and fairly tall growing. Large single flowers in various shades and combinations of yellow, orange and red, freely produced over a long period in summer.

cultivation:
Needs full sun and moderately fertile well drained soil. Will grow in both clay and sandy soils.

propagation:
From seed which usually germinates within 2 weeks. Sow in March in a greenhouse.
