description:
Half-hardy annual, double flowerhead with petals of red and deep orange edged with yellow. Compact bushy habit with deeply cut, toothed, pinnate leaves which are pungently aromatic when bruised.

cultivation:
Needs full sun and moderately fertile well drained soil. Will grow in both clay and sandy soils.

propagation:
From seed which usually germinates within 2 weeks. Sow in March in a greenhouse.

usage:
Supposed to repel insects and used in companion planting with vegetable crops such as potatoes and tomatoes.
