Tender herbaceous climber with attractive foliage of deeply divided, round-lobed, bluish-green leaves. Fringed yellow flowers in late summer. They often have red markings at the centres.
May be grown as an annual.

Moist, well drained, neutral to acid soil in sun or light part shade. Needs mild temperatures to over-winter. Treated as an annual in cool areas.

From seed

Summer climber in temperate areas, also good for conservatories.
Leaves are edible.
