Attractive variegated form with green and white leaves. Clump forming with fleshy corm-like rhizomes. Umbels of sweetly fragrant lilac flowers. The foliage smells of garlic.
Slightly less hardy than the species.
Needs well drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun. Dislikes cold, wet winter conditions. Fairly tender but might survive a little frost if given some protection. May be grown in a cool greenhouse or conservatory.
