Large orange flowers often with greenish streaking on the outside and yellow centres inside, on strong stems in early to mid spring. Slightly scented.
Well drained, preferably neutral to alkaline soil in sun.
Plant bulbs in late summer and autumn at a depth of 10 to 15cm. For best performance, lift bulbs annually after foliage dies back, store and replant.
By bulb offsets.
Good in borders and for cutting.
