Narrowly linear leaves sometimes with wavy edges, glaucous grey-green. Stems reach 40-45 cm. Smallish slender flowers, about 10cm long, with long pointed, twisted petals, pale red or yellow flushed with red.
Well drained, preferably neutral to alkaline soil in sun.
Plant bulbs in late summer and autumn at a depth of 10 to 15cm.
