Vigorous upright shrub. Clusters of dainty bell-shaped white flowers in spring, followed from late July by heavy crops of light blue berries, juicy and with excellent flavour. Ovate, deep green leaves. Good autumn foliage colours.
Needs a moist, very acid soil. Hardy, with relatively good drought tolerance and disease resistance.
Self-fertile, but cross-pollination by other plants produces better cropping.
Can be grown in a large container.
Prune in late winter.
Very nutritious edible berries. One of the most productive varieties, used by both commercial and home growers.
