Spreading bushy deciduous shrub with ovate deep green leaves. Good orange autumn foliage colour. Clusters of small urn-shaped white or pink flushed flowers in early spring, later followed by prolific crops of large dark blue berries with excellent flavour. Self-fertile and early cropping in July or August.
Needs a moist, very acid soil. This variety is more tolerant of cold conditions and wetter soils than most.
Can be grown in a large container.
Edible berries, also very ornamental.
