Unusual variegated form with the normal large, heavily veined leaves being irregularly splashed creamy-white. Unfortunately has a strong tendency to revert to all green shoots.

Large upright shrub, though may be smaller than the species. Normally evergreen or may be semi-evergreen in cold winters. Heads of small yellowish-white flowers opening from dark pink buds in spring.

Any reasonably fertile, moist, well drained soil. This form is best in part shade.

If required, prune back shoots after flowering.
