We are now starting Beta testing of the Plant Base for Android on-board database edition.  The Beta test download is available to registered users of Plant Base for PC and Mac.  All the details, download and installation guide will be published on the main website very soon.

This has been a background project for a long time but is now usable and reasonably complete. Some things have been omitted from the initial release, notably externally linked pictures and the references section. However, all the essential core functions appear to be working well.

As promised, the Android edition uses exactly the same database as the others.  For the Beta test we are just providing the application, which users can then run on database files copied over from their existing installation.
